About Rich Bride Poor Bride

When it comes to weddings, everybody wants it to be the perfect day… BUT unless you have access to unlimited funds, it’s “I DO” at what cost?  Whether a princess or a pauper, each bride, no matter what size her budget is, struggles through the planning of her wedding.

The story begins when a couple’s laundry list of wedding dreams and desires is revealed to a wedding planner.  Once the planner has an idea of the type of wedding desired they ask for a budget and that’s when Rich Bride Poor Bride steps in and gives them an envelope containing the amount they can spend to make the couple’s dreams come true.  From finding a venue, to booking a church, to getting the right cake, even dealing with an overbearing mother in law – the wedding planner juggles it all – all the while trying to stay on budget!  And while the actual budget they have to create the couple’s once-in-a-lifetime wedding is kept a secret, at the end of the show, the couple walks us through their expenditures and how each dollar was spent toward making their big day truly their own.
