About Brittany and Shahram

303_Brittany-92_92For San Francisco restaurateur Shahram, nothing is too much for his bride Brittany — including a half-million dollar wedding and a brand new Bentley.  Included in the National Register of Historic Places, The Bently Reserve, formerly the Old Federal Reserve Bank Building serves as a monument to tradition.  Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, it will also be the setting for this lavishly elegant 1940’s Hollywood themed black tie event.  The location is just one of the details that floral designer Ricardo Luna, of Luna Gardens design, has in mind.  For the ceremony, Brittany will appear from the top of a long staircase and walk down a rose petal framed aisle with huge wrought iron candelabras on either side.  She will approach the altar, which will be decorated with four twenty-foot tall apple blossom trees, and a floral archway.  After the ceremony, the crew of 50 or so workers will turn around the ceremony site into the reception site, while the 200 guests fill themselves on cocktails and hors d’oeuvres outside.  Shahram will be using his own service staff and chefs from his restaurants to serve his guests a menu that he has selected personally.  In between courses every square foot of the white dance floor will be used, and two different bands will be performing.  The cake, being designed by Shinmin Li, will be a replica of their invitation.  On each dinner table is a framed calligraphy picture with the expression “I Love you” in a different language.  It’s little details like this that are all over this highly elegant white, cream and champagne colored wedding.
