I will be wearing Forever Yours. I never understand what they were talking about when they say "When you find it you know" until I found my dress. I tried on 3 dresses one day and then 4 more the next day. I actually tried on 3 dresses in less than 5 minutes. But when I tried that 4th one, I knew before I pulled it all the way up that it was it. And I am a plus size woman so the person in the bridal shop came in the room and zipped it up. OMG it fit PERFECT!!!!!

I will be wearing something from either the Thrift store or TJ Max or whatever store has something that is not expensive. I have until August.

I'm having mine custom made I still have some time to decide where. I would like to have mine made by Thereze Fleetwood because she does African inspired gowns. If this is too expensive I will consider elsewhere. However, I want my gown made of African material instead of the usual beading, cowie shells and for the crystal in it I want Garnet. I do however think I will go with a european design and will wear a crown in nefertiti style with a cathedral veil attached. That's where I am in my thinking right now. My wedding party will also wear African inspired gowns with a more African twist.

Maggie Sottero!

Maggie Sottero is what I wore. And it was chosen by a good friend of mine that had passed away about a year prior of cancer, that was diagnosed and ended so fast we were all left in shock. Well, as many of you know, Maggie dresses are all names. I was looking thru the catalogs at the bridal shop waiting for my appointment. I found the dress of my dreams, told the sales person that was the one that I wanted. Then I looked at the bottom of the page, and the name of the dress was Gemma, the name of my friend!!!! There was no more thinking needed!!!! It was decided.

i want to look into dresses that aren't even white but light colors, and otherwise vinage, i'm really big on styles that are history ithing there is something so magical about them.

I'm getting my dress costumed made by my best friend's sister since no one does a blinged out royal blue dress.lol

Ill be wearing myself and my mom. My mother passed away when i was a child, but i still have her wedding dress and i'm using a peice of her dress as part of the dress I'm making for myself.
